What a great place to start your Myrtle Beach vacation!

Plyler Park, on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, is right in the middle of all the good things that Myrtle Beach has to offer.

And it also offers up a lot of free family entertainment for your beach stay enjoyment.
Family fun attractions abound near Plyler Park. For instance, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, along with several other Ripley’s attractions, is just across the street. Pier 14 is a short walk via the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Pier 14 offers a fabulous view of the Myrtle Beach coastline, so be sure and bring your camera or camcorder.
For the more mature, The Bowery, original home to the country music supergroup Alabama, boundaries the northern end of Plyler Park.
For the hungry and thirsty, several fast food and “Italian Ice” merchants are located in the boardwalk merchants plaza adjoining Plyler Park.

Where is Plyler Park?

Plyler Park is located in downtown Myrtle Beach, just off Ocean Boulevard at the end of 10th Avenue North (Mr. Joe White Avenue). One block south of the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel.

Parking

There are several private parking lots in Withers Alley which is the closet from Plyler Park, behind The I Love Sugar Store. City parking is everywhere with the meters. If you don’t mind walking a few blocks, there is also the parking deck on Kings Highway (Highway 17 Business) and 9th Ave N.

Hot Summer Nights 2017

Hot Summer Nights kick off the summer! Starting Monday, June 12, family-friendly Hot Summer Nights take over Plyler Park and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk! Monday nights will feature a Kids Carnival Night from 7pm to 10pm. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights will feature live bands on the Plyler Park Stage, music starts at 8pm. Thursday nights, come out to dance and sing along as a local DJ spins your favorite tunes. Wednesday Night Fireworks from the 2nd Ave. Pier will bring out the “oohs” and “ahhs” with the show starting at 10pm.
